The rule

- First class honours70+
- Upper second class honours60+
- Lower second class honours50+
- Third class honours40+
Within 0.5 marks — A classification average within 0.5 of the next class boundary is awarded the higher classification.
- Integrated masters programmes weight years 2, 3 and 4 at 1:2:2 — switch to the 4-year setting.
- Skills electives and some four-year programmes have their own rules.
- Students who started before 2022/23 are classified under the previous regulations.
